First item of business on this wonderful Monday (not really, I'm actually PMS'ing real bad and I'm retaining something to the tune of FOUR freaking pounds) so anyway, first item of business, as a Weezer fan I can't believe it took me two weeks to download this:
It makes me super happy that they have finally released another album, and it's good. I like it.
Ok, since I'm crabby and should really go on a walk to release some tension before work I'm just going to show you some projects and make like a baby and head out.
Here is the page I did for Create My Keepsake's Last Scrapper Standing challenge #1. I didn't make the cut, and I'd be lying if I didn't say that I was a little bit bummed out, but that's the name of the game right? I think I need to take a couple of days and make projects for me. I'm really feeling "lost" as to what my style is as opposed to making things that I think will be accepted by the masses. Frankly that isn't my style and I don't know why I'm doing it. That said, I really like this page I did.
Also sharing a bella card that is new to all of you. I made it for a swap and thought it turned out cute.
Ok, that's it for today. Hopefully I'll come back at the end of the week with a much more uplifting post.

Again I will say that I'm pretty sure the people picking the *winners* for these things are smoking crack!
Seriously, though, I love the stuff you've been working on lately. I think it's a good idea to do what makes you happy, though, instead of trying to please others with your pages. Know that I'm one of your biggest fans and always look forward to seeing what you're working on!
I LOVE your bella cards! You must have quite a collection of the stamps! :) All I can say is, if THAT layout didn't make the cut, then HOLY COW, there must have been some seriously STEEP competition because I think it's fabulous!!!

That card is so stinkin' adorable, and I really love that layout! And man can I relate to that journaling, too - I used to always fall for those guys myself! I've enjoyed looking around your blog - you do awesome work! I think it's easy to get caught up in trying to figure out what style everyone else wants to see that you lose your own - i've been guilty of that, too! I think as long as you create what makes you happy, you can't go wrong!
