But nothing's greater than the rush that comes with your embrace

Today Jon and I signed the papers on our very first place together. If you know my history, this is a pretty big step for me, and I'm so excited about it. In between packing and getting ready to move everything I'm going to upload a couple of pictures of our currently empty duplex.And for my scrappy friends, this is the mini album cover that I have been working on to document our first home together. Isn't it cute!!

I was totally going to post this like week before last.

First, scrappies!! A sneak peak at Heather's layout for trading faces. I'm SOOO excited for her to see it and I hope that she loves it!

Second, my Oregon Country Fair album. Honestly, and I'm embarrassed to admit this, but it's the first mini album I've actually finished, and the first time I've used acrylics in this capacity.

This is the cover.

On the inside I made a little tag-- for lack of a better term, and journaled on the back all of the "senses" experienced at the fair. I think it's a cute little album.

So yeah, work is hell right now. I'm hoping after the big move everything calms down a little bit. Everyone is wound up SO tight. Just tonight one of my good work friends called me bawling. It's not easy at this point in time. The big move is on Sunday, so wish us all luck that we stay sane throughout the next week.

Last, Jon and I are moving in the beginning of next month! I am SO very excited. This little apartment is too small, and he is pretty much here all the time anyway. I am excited to have a dishwasher (hopefully), the be far away from my bat sh*t crazy neighbor, to have a room for all my scrapbooking stuff, to have a bigger kitchen, and to have my washer and dryer back!! It will be lovely.
